ஜீவாத்மா பெறும் மதிப்பு, பரமாத்மாவை அடைந்த பின்பு.
விளக்கு ஜீவாத்மா எனில் எண்ணெய் ஆகும் பரமாத்மா
விளக்கு எரியாது நொடிப் பொழுதும் எண்ணெய் இன்றி!
ஜீவாத்மா இரும்பு எனில் ஒரு காந்தம் ஆகும் பரமாத்மா;
ஜீவாத்மாயை மூடி இருப்பது மாயை என்னும் களிமண்.
மண்ணைக் கழுவினால் மட்டுமே காந்தம் செயல்படும்!
மாயையை அகற்றினால் மட்டுமே இறை செயல்படும் !
பந்தப் பட்ட சிறிய ஆத்மா ஆகும் ஜீவாத்மா;
பந்தப் படாத பெரிய ஆத்மா ஆகும் பரமாத்மா.
விஷய சுகங்களை அனுபவிப்பது ஜீவாத்மா;
விஷய சுகங்களுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது பரமாத்மா.
நீர்க் குமிழ் போல் தோன்றி மறைவது ஜீவாத்மா;
நீரோட்டமாக என்றும் நிலைத்து நிற்பது பரமாத்மா.
அலைகள் போலத் தோன்றி மறைவது ஜீவாத்மா;
நிலையாக மாற்றமே இன்றி இருப்பது பரமாத்மா.
ஜீவாத்மா சார்ந்து நிற்கும் அந்தப் பரமாத்மாவை;
ஜீவாத்மாவைச் சார்வதில்லை அந்தப் பரமாத்மா .
தோற்றமும், மறைவும் உடையது ஜீவாத்மா ;
தோற்றமும், மறைவும் இல்லாதது பரமாத்மா.
சச்சிதானந்த ரூபத்தை இழந்தவன் ஜீவாத்மா;
சச்சிதானந்த ரூபத்தை உடையவன் பரமாத்மா.
நிறத்தால் வேறுபடும் தலையணைகள் ஜீவாத்மா;
நிரப்பும் பஞ்சு போன்று மிகத் தூயவன் பரமாத்மா.
குணங்களால் வேறுபட்டு மாறுபடுவது ஜீவாத்மா;
குணங்களை முற்றும் கடந்து நிற்பது பரமாத்மா .
குறைந்த அறிவினை உடையவன் ஜீவாத்மா;
நிறைந்த அறிவினை உடையவன் பரமாத்மா.
குறைந்த திறமையை உடையவன் ஜீவாத்மா;
செறிந்த திறமையை உடையவன் பரமாத்மா .
எல்லைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டு நிற்பவன் ஜீவாத்மா ;
எல்லைகளைக் கடந்து நிற்பவன் தூயபரமாத்மா.
அனைத்தையும் கடந்து நிற்பதால் அவன் கடவுள்!
அனைத்திற்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டதால் அவன் கடவுள்!

203. JeevAthma vs ParamAthma
JeevAthma is a zero and gets its value only when it stands behind ParamAtma. JeevAthma is a lamp while ParamAthma is the oil in the lamp. If JeevAthma is a piece of iron then ParamAthma is a magnet. The clay covering the iron piece is the mAya. When the clay is washed away the magnet can attract the iron. When the mAya is removed ParamAthma can be realised by the JeevAthma
JeevAthma is in bongdage while ParamAthma is not in any kind of bondage. JeevAthma enjoys the sensual pleasures while ParamAthma refrains from any kind of sensual enjoyment. JeevAthma is like a flimsy bubble in water but ParamAthma is the water from which the bubbles are formed. JeevAthma appears and disappears like the waves in an ocean. ParamAthma does not appear or disappear and is constant and unchanging as the deep ocean.
JeevAthma depends on ParamAthma for its very existence. ParamAthma does not depend on anything or anyone at anytime. JeevAthma has a beginning and and end. ParamAthma has neither a beginning nor an end.
JeevAthma has lost its sath-chith-Anandha-swaroopm but ParamAthma never ever loses it. JeevAthmas differ in their colors like the pillows made of different materials. But ParamAthma remains the same as the cotton that fills up the pillows. JeevAthmas differ by their qualities and attributes. ParamAthma is beyond qualities and attributes.
JeevAthma has limited knowledge but ParamAthma has unlimited knowledge. JeevAthma has limited power but ParamAthma has unlimited power. JeevAthma has boundaries but ParamAthma has transcended all boundaries.
